Awards

Eco Schools Silver Award – This international award programme recognises the work at the school in becoming more sustainable, addressing environmental themes, ranging from litter and waste to healthy living. The school achieved Bronze and Silver level in 2008 and is working towards Green Flag status.

Food for life bronze award

Hatherop Primary was one of the first 20 schools to receive a Bronze mark award in the Food For Life Programme. The award was given in 2008 for the schools commitment to a food culture, its quality of school lunches, food education and skills, leadership and community involvement.

International school award

Hatherop Primary School achieved the Full International Schools Award in 2007 for the links it has made with other countries, enabling the pupils to be aware of different cultures around the world.

This award was given to Hatherop Primary School in 2007 for the amount and range of school sport and PE.

We received the Silver Arts Mark in 2005 in recognition of the quantity and quality of the Arts that take place at our school. The award recognises the range of opportunities within the school in art, dance, drama and music.
