Married and living in Coln St Aldwyns, our three children attend the school. I enjoy being part of this successful primary school within our thriving community.
I feel very fortunate to have moved to Coln St-Aldwyns two and half years ago from London. I grew up and was educated in Paris and Brussels. I am a chartered accountant as well as an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist and divide my working week between these two activities. I believe that both disciplines will serve me well in my new role as governor. I am interested in children, their education and their key role in shaping the society of the future. I am a member of Coln Parochial Church Council.
I have been a foundation governor since I became vicar of Hatherop. I have lots to do with this friendly and high achieving school as governor, vicar and parent. It is a joy to work with such an outstanding team – the rest of the governing body, all the staff and pupils.
Our three children have had a wonderful start at Hatherop Primary School starting in 2001. My wife Kate and I are so pleased with the way they have been taught and the values that have been encouraged at the school. I am proud to help by being a LEA governor. Kate runs the school and church choirs on Fridays.
I am very glad to be involved with the school because, as the Director of the Ernest Cook Trust (which owns farmland and houses in the area) I have much to do with the people and community of Hatherop and the local villages. The Trust is an educational charity and I am very interested in education: I am also a Governor of Coln House School, and a Trustee of a national educational charity that works with children from inner-city schools. I am married with four children, three of whom have left school; we live in Fairford.
Jo Mounty - Parent Governor since October 2009I am a Chartered Management Accountant with a degree in European Finance & Accounting & French. I worked in business before giving up to have my two children who both attend Hatherop. I feel they are getting a privileged education in this small & friendly school. I am delighted to be a part of this well managed & successful team.
Orla Hall - Parent Governor since October 2009I was born and educated in Dublin moving to London in the late 1980s. Most of my work experience is in IT Project Management. Now married to David and we have 3 loving children, all who attend Hatherop. I can recall vividly my first visit to the school as a new parent - everyone was friendly, the children well behaved and the quality of work in every classroom amazing. Since our children joined the school I have really enjoyed been actively involved in the PTA and the Cookery Club.
Born and lived in Coln St Aldwyns until I married Linda. Lived in Cirencester until I moved back to Coln in 2002. My two children both attend Hatherop Primary School. I am an Accountant in the Finance section at the Cotswold District Council. I have been involved with the local cricket club (Williamstrip) for over 30 years, and although no longer playing regularly, I am currently the club’s Secretary.
Married to Tom and farming in Fairford, we have 3 children at Hatherop. Before the children I was a Director at Hartpury College developing international business. Currently I work part time writing grant applications for rural businesses, am a columnist for a farming magazine and recently qualified as a Community First Responder. I enjoy the opportunity to play an active part in the school community.
I have been Head of Hatherop since 1986. I have taught all my working life and in very different places including Birmingham, Sussex and Japan. I originally intended to stay at Hatherop for only 2 years but I love the school and all the exciting things we do so much, I’ve stayed! I really enjoy teaching and seeing children develop through their years at Hatherop.
I teach class 2 and class 3 at different times. I am also Assistant Head. I have worked at Hatherop for 20 years and I also live in Hatherop with my husband Mike, who is Deputy Head at Farmor’s. I have two grown up children. I believe the Arts are a very important part of education and derive great pleasure from seeing the immense creativity that children are capable of in Art, Music, Dance and Drama.
Living in Quenington for the last 13 years, I have two daughters one at Hatherop Primary and one who moved on to Farmor's a few years ago. Married to Simon, a self-employed electrician; I work full time at Farmor's School as Data & Exams Administrator. With the school constantly looking to move forward and never resting on its laurels, the role of Governor here is an interesting and varied one.

I am married to Jez and have lived in Fairford for over 15 years. Our children joined Hatherop Primary in 2007. I previously worked as a Biomedical Scientist within the NHS and now work at the Great Western Hospital as an IT Project Manager. I have previously filled the secretarial role for Fairford Playgroup and am now enjoying supporting the Governors' in my role as Clerk.
