After School Club - We provide after school activities for pupils between 3pm to 5pm. There is a fee for this, to cover the costs, of £5.70 per child per day. Please download the booking form here. Please complete the form and hand it in to school. You will be invloiced monthly.

Sports Club - There is a weekly Sports Club after school with a qualified coach, Matt Townsend, (who also plays football for the local football team). Matt concentrates on tennis coaching in the summer and football in the winter.

Latin Club - Hatherop C. E. Primary is unusual in that a Latin Club is offered to pupils in Yr 4, Yr 5 and Yr 6 as an after school club. We believe an understanding of Latin gives pupils a deeper insight into their own language and pupils are given the opportunity to explore Latin in an informal way.  

They follow the Minimus course which provides plenty of language work in the context of life in Roman Britain.  The course includes historical and archaeological material about those who lived at Vindolanda (a Roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall), opportunities to be creative (Latin Club have made Roman biscuits, jewellery and leather sandals) and to learn about Greek myths.  

Choirs - The School Choir meets monthly after school to prepare for the family service.

Kate’s’ Choir is held at lunchtimes and is led by Kate Hicks Beach a parent and classical singer.
