Congratulations to our new school council who were recently elected.

We have recently purchased a collection of books to expand our inclusive and representative library. The books were carefully chosen to show the diversity of our population. They are books that show diversity in race, culture and family setup. There are simple picture books for our younger readers and as we more detailed chapter books for our older children. We look forward to using these books in class.

Thank you to Mr Brignall who invited us to use the church for this year’s Carol Concert. The children sang beautifully, read the story clearly and acted out their parts perfectly! Thank you to all the families who attended making the event all the more special.

We were treated to a brilliant Nativity performance from Skylark class this morning. Their singing was amazing, their acting fantastic and they even included some dancing too! Well done everyone!

With our Christian values of Generosity and Compassion in mind, we supported the Salvation Army by donating Christmas goodies, which will all go to local families in need this Christmas.

This year we worked together to think about who we could REACH OUT to when we needed help, as well as how we could REACH OUT to those in need.

In order to raise money for Children in Need this year, we all wore something spotty to school. We raised over £70.

To live out our value of Generosity, as well as show our appreciation to those who are so generous with their time volunteering in school, we held GenerosiTEA. All classes chose something to bake in preparation and then enjoyed sharing tea and cake with our grandparents and volunteers

The PTA treated all the pupils to games, food and drinks at the Autumn Fair!
